An animated adaptation of Daijiro Morohoshi's masterpiece, which shocked the 70's Japanese sci-fi manga world with its rich ancient history pedantry and the charm of its elaborately constructed worldview. A young boy, Takeshi, is guided by a mysterious old man, Takeuchi, from Nagano to ancient Izumo. Takeshi gets lost in a dark world while visiting famous places related to ancient mythology.
