While Yi Xiao tries to convince Ru Yan to move on with her life, Sui Ge focuses on getting the identity of the masked man by interrogating the death warriors. The Empress Dowager of Jinxiu and her son, the Emperor, scheme to keep control of Jing Shi now that he’s back. Prime Minister Zhuang takes control of the imperial court, planning to replace Sui Ge’s only supporter with his own.
