Everyone in Woodland has been looking forward to spring, but a late snowfall make it seem like it's taking forever. Franklin decides to celebrate the first day of spring by creating a holiday based around it, with special traditions such as having waffles for breakfast. On the day of the big celebration, melting snow and heavy rains cause an unfortunate flood, but Franklin and his family still find reason to celebrate after receiving help from a certain animal familiy who's well-equipped to deal with the problem.
