Northwood follows the lives and loves of the teenagers who hang out in this middle class, ethnically diverse metropolitan suburb. Premiering in March 1991, and originally slated to air as a limited-run six-part series, high ratings for these six episodes garnered a full-series order, with the second season premiering in September of that same year.
